We met our Kickstarter Goal!

Thank you SO much to everyone who donated to our First Anniversary Kickstarter.  With your help, we met our initial goal of $4,000 in under TWO DAYS and raised a total of $10,713.  This money will be used to install new airtight doors in the studios entrances, complete some lingering cosmetic and acoustic building projects, and purchase a few new house instruments and some new recording gear.  Big things coming in 2018!

GHR's 1st Anniversary!

Ghost Hit Recording is one year old! It's been an amazing year, and we're hoping to make 2018 even better.

We're launching a Kickstarter campaign to complete some exciting new projects at the studio. There are some awesome rewards ranging from new merch to heavily discounted studio time. If you're thinking about making a record in 2018, this is a great time to make it happen! Thanks for watching, and check out our Kickstarter here: http://kck.st/2nor7tx

GHR Has a New Console!

We are super excited to announce a major change at GHR-- the studio is now home to a beautiful DDA AMR 24 analog console!  This highly functional and musical console has 24 channels of excellent sounding mic pres/EQs on the input side and 24 faders with EQ on the monitor/group section.  It has mojo for days and allows us to get great sounds quickly.  We are also now running a Pro Tools HD rig with 32 channels of extremely high quality AD/DA conversion.

We're so pumped that we were able to make this massive leap in equipment within our first year of being open.  We're working on getting more pictures up as soon as possible, but until then, follow Ghost Hit Recording on Instagram for updates!

Heather Maloney "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" Released on Amazon

Western MA-based artist Heather Maloney recently came into GHR to record her rendition of "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes," which was released exclusively on the Amazon Music Valentines Day playlist Love Me Notalongside artists including Mary Chapin Carpenter and JD McPherson. Ryan Hommel produced the sessions, and Andrew tracked and mixed the song top to bottom at GHR.
